December 19, 1943 ~ January 3, 2024 (age 80) 80 Years Old
Kaye Coffman, a beloved daughter, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Born on December 19, 1943, in Attica, Indiana, Kaye lived a life filled with joy, dedication and passion, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew her. She was 80 years old at the time of her passing.
Kaye's career spanned many years as an office manager with GTE, Liggett Group and then retiring from Duke University. She found great joy and fulfillment in her work, embracing the challenges and responsibilities that came with it.
While Roslyn's career held a significant place in her heart, her greatest source of pride and love came from being a devoted mother. Kaye took great care in raising her two children. She embraced their passions growing up making sacrifices along the way. She is survived by her son, Thomas Coffman. Together, they shared a bond that transcended words, as she provided unwavering support and guidance throughout his life. Be safe and have fun was what she always said to her children.
Kaye was preceded by her parents, Howard Albert Larson and Aileen Mull Larson, and her daughter, Sandra Lynn Coffman. Their memories will forever be cherished by Kaye's family and friends, who find solace in the recollections of her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
As we bid farewell to Roslyn Kaye Coffman, we remember her as a remarkable woman who exemplified dedication in all aspects of her life. While her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
May Kaye rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love and gratitude of all whose lives she touched.
